In 2012, the 1st Annual Angel Cheer Championship raised $15,000 for Elly's Angels and Alyssa Loschiavo.

On May 12, 2011, 14-year-old Alyssa Loschiavo was crossing a 4 lane street when she was struck by a vehicle. After the accident, she spent almost a year in the intensive care unit at ECMC.  She now lives at home with her family in a semi-conscious state.  Alyssa was a cheerleader, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.  She continues to fight, to improve, and to show us all what it means to have hope and to stay strong.
